To prioritize the health and safety of our team, our guests, and our community, and to assure continuity of business once this unprecedented health crisis is contained, my Partner, Chef Angelo Auriana, and I have made the difficult decision to VOLUNTARILY and TEMPORARILY SUSPEND THE OPERATIONS of our Downtown Los Angeles Restaurants: The Factory Kitchen, BRERA Ristorante, and sixth+mill pizzeria and bar effective tomorrow, March 15th, 2020.

We will do our very best to keep our loyal patrons and incredible dining community informed through our websites and social media as learn more from the City of LA and LA County Public Health with whom we are in constant contact.

BRERA Ristorante (formerly Officine BRERA) is a trattoria inspired by the Cucina Povera, typical of the countryside along the River Po’ Valley in Northern Italy. Business Partners Angelo Auriana and Matteo Ferdinandi both grew up in this region and have fond memories of hearty meals shared with family and friends. The menu at BRERA Ristorante displays Chef Auriana’s view on authentic Italian flavors while incorporating his professionalism, personality, experience and intuition into the dishes he creates.

At BRERA Ristorante, Chef Auriana has taken traditional recipes from his heritage and made them accessible to guests, combining contemporary techniques with traditions. Chef Auriana always makes sure to stay true to his Italian lineage by using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Ferdinandi’s passion for excellence in service is something that he and the BRERA Ristorante team consistently strive for, while always showing their guests respect and generosity.
